A pleasant branding reveal is in store for the city of Shreveport's downtown goers as Lake Street Bar has updated it's interior and exterior with a new and modern aesthetic. SPAC's (SCORE Public Art Campaign) Lead artist KaDavien Baylor has coordinated efforts with owner Frederick Ellis to not only update the buildings facade but also bridge the gap between the community and its public spaces.
Being a graduate of Green Oaks High School, Frederick and KaDavien have began to speak about how to involve the youth in revitalization of local neighborhoods through public art. This is aligned with SPAC's mission to put paint where it aint and inspire the youth with fresh and new opportunities.
